MODULE 1: STRATEGIC SOURCING
This foundational module introduces participants to the principles and practices of strategic sourcing within healthcare organizations. Participants will gain an understanding of how sourcing decisions impact organizational performance, supplier relationships, and patient outcomes. The module provides a practical framework for managing sourcing initiatives, evaluating suppliers, and developing procurement strategies that support organizational objectives.

- Understand the strategic role of sourcing in healthcare supply chains
- Conduct spend and contract analyses to identify opportunities for improvement
- Differentiate between competitive and non-competitive souring approaches
- Apply the sourcing process from planning through implementation
