John Gormley – Saskatchewan Powering Through the Pandemic: Lessons Learned From a Year Like No Other

John Gormley, broadcaster, lawyer and best selling author, explores the road ahead for Saskatchewan as the province emerges from the year-long Covid-19 pandemic.  With over 70,000 jobs lost in the early weeks of the pandemic, the province has faced its most challenging year since the Great Depression of the 1930s. From first responders to critical infrastructure in food, fuel and fertilizer sectors, Gormley shares stories of Saskatchewan resilience, adaptability and the plan for a path back to normalcy. From managing change to technology and public trust, he argues that the province’s journey back to prosperity will be a joint effort of citizens, businesses and government and will bring results more quickly than some are expecting.
