Date:   May 14, 2024 - May 14, 2024
Time:   12:00 PM - 1:00 PM (MDT)

Join us for Supply Chain Canada E-Connect for Saskatchewan members where we will hear from Mike Dundas, SCMP, Manager Sustainable Procurement with FCC and FCC's Indigenous Procurement Policy.

Mike will present for 15 minutes and then we will move into breakout rooms for discussion where we can each share best practices and resources, and create connections in the supply chain sector.  All Saskatchewan members are welcome and encouraged to attend this virtual networking and learning opportunity.

Mike Dundas is the Manager, Sustainable Procurement at FCC. Mike’s role is focused on ensuring that FCC builds upon a responsible procurement philosophy that identifies and mitigates risks associated with environmental, social and governance issues. Strategic priorities related to ESG in FCC’s supply chain include the maturation of FCC’s Indigenous procurement program, accessibility within the supply chain, the prevention of forced labour and child labour in FCC’s supply chain, and reduction of FCC’s operational carbon footprint.

Farm Credit Canada (FCC) is a federal Crown corporation that supports growth and prosperity in the Canadian agriculture and food industry. We're removing barriers of entry to the industry and increasing inclusiveness for key groups such as young producers, women and Indigenous peoples. FCC recently launched its Indigenous Procurement Program, which encourages Indigenous inclusion within its supply chain with a goal of supporting reconciliation in alignment with the Truth and Reconciliation Commission of Canada's Call to Action #92.
